Inter School Competition
EXCOGITATE 2022
“Science knows no country, because knowledge belongs to humanity, and is the torch which illuminates the world. Science is the highest personification of the nation because that nation will remain the first which carries the furthest the works of thought and intelligence.” By Louis Pasteur
East Point School successfully organised EXCOGITATE, 2022, an Inter School Science Fest on 27th August 2022. We gathered to celebrate our ability to inquire, think and invent as aptly reflective from the title Excogitate. Science is the great antidote to poisonous superstition. Human civilization has come a long way through scientific and technological advancement. The science that we learn at schools is to develop the scientific temper which is also one of the Directive principles mentioned in the Indian Constitution. It is to back our lives with rationale and shun away preconceived notions, prejudices and stereotypes.
Excogitate was a great success with the participation of schools like MOTHER MARY’S SCHOOL, BAL BHAVAN PUBLIC SCHOOL, MAYUR PUBLIC SCHOOL AND BHARAT BHARTI PUBLIC SCHOOL in the competitions: ACT ACTINIUM for VI, SCIENTASTICS for VII, EFFERVESCENCE for VIII, TECH VEHICLE for IX, CLEAN BOT for X AND SMART CITY for XI.
Apart from the competitions, students were also advised about the dire need of holding fast to ascientific approach in their lives, promoting sustainable development and healing the ailing planet through science and technology.
