Chairperson’s Message

Mrs. Amita Gupta did her B.A. from Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi. She has subsequently done B.Ed., M.A. History and M. Ed.. She taught in East Point School and Delhi Public School, Vasant Vihar, Delhi. She has been involved with East Point School since 1994  when it was located in Preet Vihar. She was instrumental in getting land allotted to the East Point Education Society from DDA and has led the development of the school through her dedicated efforts to its present status over the last two decades. She was Principal of East Point School from 2002 to 2017. She has been an office bearer in the East Point Education Society and East Point School Managing Committee for the last two decades.

East Point School is relatively young in age, yet again in this short period, has evolved as one of the more progressive Senior Secondary Schools in the area. East Point Education Society over the years has been able to provide infrastructure of which the children can be proud off. The school is managed by a team of professionals who are recognised in their area of expertise.

It has a dynamic curriculum which endeavours to prepare children for tomorrow. The skills required and the needs of society are constantly changing, thus at times it becomes challenging for the educational faculty to keep abreast and constantly bring about reforms in methodology, assessment and syllabus. I am glad to say that our teachers have worked hard and given results accordingly. Our endeavour is to develop a well informed student body who are able to take decisions, strategies, develop empathy and compassion and use technology for innovation and knowledge.

It is difficult to predict what the demands of tomorrow are going to be but we have to prepare our youth to be able to handle situations and to be an asset to themselves and those around them and be able to face the future with confidence.

To handle tomorrows unforeseen challenges and stress: the school provides support through various programmes like workshops related to stress and time management, happiness curriculum, mindfulness and various hobby activities including yoga and meditation. This enables the students smoothly wade through life.

In the years to come we have a road map where we visualize each child to be able to develop in academics and holistically, where they realise their own potential and develop their multidimensional personality and compete with themselves – thus becoming happy and well – adjusted individuals. For this the school, its management and faculty continue to work and introduce new ideas, schemes and programmes to enable the students to forge ahead.
